Orian Consultancy was established by Roel van Es in April 2006 and specialises in giving independent advice on concrete repair problems from initial assessment to repair solutions and project supervision.
Orian Consultancy clients include both national and international consulting engineers, architects, building surveyors, property managers, local authorities, utility companies and contractors.

Roel van Es is an industry recognised expert in the field of corrosion damaged reinforced concrete with over twenty-five years of knowledge and experience. Roel was involved in the writing of the European Standards for Concrete Repair, BS EN 1504 and is the author of several papers on this subject.
"I have worked in the concrete deterioration, reinforcement corrosion, inspection and repair fields since the early eighties. Initially, this was with an internationally-recognised consultancy and later with specialist contractors. I established a well known concrete inspection and testing business in 1990, where I head a specialist team carrying out site surveys and producing interpretative reports based upon the findings."
"I sit on various key committees and working groups, in the UK and Europe, in respect of the European and British Standards on concrete repair. I also represent the UK Concrete Repair Association (CRA) on the BSI committee for concrete repair related standards, as well as sitting on the CRA Technical Committee."
